Comprehensive School Improvement Plans (CSIP)

Comprehensive School Improvement Plans (CSIP)

CSIP stands for "Comprehensive School Improvement Plan"

The primary goal of Title I schools is to ensure that all students, particularly those who are low-achieving, demonstrate proficient and advanced levels of achievement on State academic achievement standards as defined by Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).  That means that each school works with the District office, building staff, community organizations, and families to develop a school-wide plan to increase student achievement. Each plan includes grade-level achievement data, goals in reading, math, writing, science and behavior and support services for students that are struggling.

The District works with each building to design professional development and to provide administration and teachers with the knowledge on research-based instructional strategies proven to increase student achievement.
