Happy Saturday and Happy Srping Break, Orcas!
I hope you all had a wonderful opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher and hear about the great progress they’re making toward grade-level standards, as well as their goals for the rest of the school year!
As we head into Spring Break, I hope you’re able to relax and enjoy some quality time as a family. I know I’ll be making the most of any dry days with my own boys at Blueberry Park!
When we return to school on Monday, April 14th, we have a busy and exciting season ahead! Upcoming events include College and Career Week, SEL Family Night, the Book Fair, Family Picnic Day, field trips, and state testing for grades 3–5. And that’s all before we kick off our End-of-Year celebrations in June!
One more important update—did you know Armin Jahr will be moving to an interim campus next school year? While construction begins on our brand-new building, we’ll be located next to the Bremerton Community Gym, right by the Boys & Girls Club.
P.S. Did you hear about the Marshmallow Farming phenomen? Ms. Kelly shared this with her students in Library on Tuesday (AKA April Fool's Day!)

¡Feliz sábado y feliz las vacaciones de primavera, Orcas!
¡Espero que todos hayan tenido una gran oportunidad de reunirse con el maestro(a) de su hijo/a y escuchar sobre el progreso que están logrando hacia los estándares del grado, así como sus metas para el resto del año escolar!
Ahora que se acerca las vacaciones de primavera, ¡espero que puedan relajarse y disfrutar tiempo en familia! Yo también estaré tratando de aprovechar los días sin lluvia en Blueberry Park con mis propios hijos.
Cuando regresemos a la escuela el lunes 14 de abril, ¡tendremos una temporada llena de actividades y eventos! Algunos de ellos incluyen: la Semana de la Universidad y Carreras, la Noche Familiar de Aprendizaje Socioemocional (SEL), la Feria del Libro, el Día de Picnic Familiar, excursiones escolares, y exámenes estatales para los grados 3 al 5. ¡Y eso es antes de nuestras celebraciones de fin de año en junio!
Una noticia importante: ¿sabían que Armin Jahr se mudará a un campus temporal el próximo año escolar? Mientras comienza la construcción de nuestro nuevo edificio escolar, estaremos ubicados junto al Gimnasio Comunitario de Bremerton, al lado del Boys & Girls Club.
P.D. ¿Escuchaste sobre el fenómeno de las granjas de malvaviscos? ¡La Sra. Kelly compartió esto con sus estudiantes en la biblioteca el martes (también conocido como el Día de los Inocentes)!
