Orca Update - April 18, 2026

Good morning, Orca Learning Community!

Thank you to all of our students, staff, and families who participated in Purple Up Day this week! It's an opportunity for us to show appreciation for the resiliency and sacrifices of these students and their families, we are grateful to be part of such a caring community.

This week, we are excited to launch our College & Career Week! Throughout the week, students will have opportunities to explore their interests, learn about future possibilities, and begin thinking about the paths they might take as they grow. From classroom conversations to engaging activities, we are encouraging all students to consider their future selves and the many options available to them!

We are especially excited to welcome students from West Sound Technical Skills Center, who will be leading hands-on activities to highlight Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities right here in our community. Students will get a closer look at programs such as automotive technology, cosmetology, and criminal justice- just a few of the many pathways available to them in the future.

We look forward to a fun and future-focused week ahead!
