Good morning, Armin Jahr Families!
Yesterday, we celebrated CNS Appreciation Day, and we want to give a huge thank you to our amazing cafeteria team. Our students are welcomed each day with breakfast and provided warm lunches thanks to this incredible group!
We also celebrated Mrs. Schiano’s last day before her retirement. Mrs. Schiano has been such an important part of Armin Jahr, and our front office will truly feel different without her. We are thankful for the time she has spent with us over the years, and we wish her all the best in this next chapter!
On Thursday, our Girls on the Run practiced their 5k, getting ready (in the heat!) for their GOTR Run 5k at the Kitsap Fairgrounds on May 30th.
TODAY is BeBREMERTON - where Bremerton SD families and staff give back to our community by helping to prepare the downtown for our Armed Forces Day parade.

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and we are excited to recognize and celebrate the incredible work our teachers do each and every day for our students! It will also be Spirit Week- see the dress up themes below.
This Thursday, our 3rd grade Dual Language classes will be performing at the School Board meeting.
Also this week! Spring state testing begins for students in grades 3–5. This is an opportunity for students to show what they know and continue building confidence in their learning. We appreciate your support in helping students come to school well-rested and ready to do their best. More information (including specific dates) is below.

¡Buenos días, familias de Armin Jahr!
Ayer celebramos el Día de Apreciación del CNS, y queremos dar un enorme agradecimiento a nuestro increíble equipo de cafetería. ¡Nuestros estudiantes son recibidos cada día con desayuno y disfrutan de almuerzos calientes gracias a este maravilloso grupo!
También celebramos el último día de la Sra. Schiano antes de su jubilación. La Sra. Schiano ha sido una parte muy importante de Armin Jahr, y nuestra oficina principal realmente se sentirá diferente sin ella. Estamos muy agradecidos por el tiempo que ha compartido con nosotros a lo largo de los años y le deseamos lo mejor en esta nueva etapa.

La próxima semana es la Semana de Apreciación a los Maestros, y estamos emocionados de reconocer y celebrar el increíble trabajo que nuestros maestros realizan todos los días por nuestros estudiantes. También será Semana de Espíritu Escolar—pueden ver los temas para vestirse más abajo.
Este jueves, nuestras clases de Lenguaje Dual de 3er grado se presentarán en la reunión de la Junta Escolar.
¡También esta semana! Comienzan las evaluaciones estatales de primavera para los estudiantes de 3.º a 5.º grado. Esta es una oportunidad para que los estudiantes demuestren lo que saben y continúen desarrollando confianza en su aprendizaje. Agradecemos su apoyo para que los estudiantes lleguen descansados y listos para dar lo mejor de sí. Más información (incluyendo fechas específicas) se encuentra abajo.
